In this interview, director Keiichiro Toyama talks about designing stages with a changing ground plane, why he wanted a cute protagonist, and his inspiration for Gravity Rush.

While Gravity Rush won’t be ready for the PlayStation Vita launch in Japan, early adopters will be able to try Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s game ten days after the system arrives.

Sony show off the touch and motion control functions in Gravity Rush, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and a bunch of other Vita titles.

“Horror games reach players through fear, which is part of human nature. Gravity Rush is about falling and that is also something people can instinctively understand,” said Keiichiro Toyama.

A new trailer for Sony’s Gravity Daze on PlayStation Vita.

Siren designer, Keiichiro Toyama, gives an overview of Gravity Daze and follows up with a video walkthrough of a portion of the game.

Project Gravity (aka Gravity Daze) has an official name now. The game is called Gravity Rush, according to this new trailer which shows Kat falling and fighting.

Sony have some very nice concept art of Project Gravity up. Some of it shows off Kat, and some the world in the game.

“She wakes up in a town called Hexaville. She doesn’t know who she is or what’s going on. What she knows is she can fight and that when she is near this one cat, so a cat creature, she gains the ability to manipulate gravity,” said Nicolo Accordino, Project Manager.

Each episode begins in a town that Kat can freely explore. Toyama explained that Project Gravity has a linear story split into episodes, but players can return to cleared areas and tackle challenge missions.
