Prope’s quirky tapping game is now on the iPhone. Well, part of it. Let’s Tap: Tap Runner, arguably the best game in Let’s Tap, is available now.
Despite weak sales in Japan, Sega took a chance and released Prope’s “future tapping game” in North America. It didn’t get much attention here either, but Sega isn’t giving up on their series of Let’s games.
Let’s Tap reacts to gentle vibrations when the Wii remote is placed on a platform. That’s why Sega bundled the game with two silly looking, but surprisingly useful cardboard boxes in Japan.
We know Sega is bringing Let’s Tap here this summer, but what about Prope’s WiiWare game Let’s Catch? Nothing official for North America yet. but Let’s Catch was rated by the OFLC in Australia. Chances seem pretty good that we will see an English version and toss baseballs with aliens here too. Can’t say [...]
As predicted Sega is bringing Let’s Tap abroad. Prope’s first retail project is slated to come out here and Europe sometime this summer. Let’s Tap isn’t a single Wii game, it’s a package of four different games plus a set of visualizers that are played by tapping on a cardboard box holding a Wii [...]

Here is the compressed tap box and spacer. You really have to put this thing together.
There are even instructions [...]
Sega released Let’s Tap in Japan this past holiday season to dismal sales. Part of the problem may have been Sega released two other Wii games – Bleach: Versus Crusade and Sonic World Adventure (aka Sonic Unleashed) on the same day there. Oops!
I bet Sega won’t make the same mistake when they release Let’s [...]
Let’s Tap is another mini-game compilation for the Wii, but the unique concept of tapping a cardboard platform to control the games makes it stand out. Unfortunately, Let’s Tap only has four games so it’s a micro mini-game collection. I played Tap Runner at TGS and it was pretty fun so I’m still looking [...]
Lots of small publishers championed WiiWare while big guns like Electronic Arts, Capcom and Sega strayed away from it. On December 16 Sega will take their first step onto WiiWare with Let’s Catch, a project done with Yuji Naka’s studio Prope. Let’s Catch is pretty much what it sounds like – a motion controlled [...]
