Yuji Naka’s studio Prope is bringing Ivy the Kiwi? to the Wii and Nintendo DS, but Sega isn’t publishing it. Namco Bandai picked up Ivy the Kiwi? and are packaging it as a retail game.

After Let’s Tap, Yuji Naka’s studio went to work on Ivy the Kiwi?, a Kirby: Canvas Curse style adventure for Windows mobile phones… which is also coming to Wii and Nintendo DS.

We covered Naoto Ohshima. What about his fellow co-woker, Yuji Naka? After porting Let’s Tap to iPhones, Prope started working on a game for Windows phones.

Prope’s quirky tapping game is now on the iPhone. Well, part of it. Let’s Tap: Tap Runner, arguably the best game in Let’s Tap, is available now.

Despite weak sales in Japan, Sega took a chance and released Prope’s “future tapping game” in North America. It didn’t get much attention here either, but Sega isn’t giving up on their series of Let’s games.

Let’s Tap reacts to gentle vibrations when the Wii remote is placed on a platform. That’s why Sega bundled the game with two silly looking, but surprisingly useful cardboard boxes in Japan.

We know Sega is bringing Let’s Tap here this summer, but what about Prope’s WiiWare game Let’s Catch? Nothing official for North America yet. but Let’s Catch was rated by the OFLC in Australia.
