There is a lot of variation in Puddle—but much like the object of its namesake, these experiences are shallow and spread thin over a wide area.
Puddle is a physics-based platformer where you control fluids to race through levels and beat the best times.
“We thought it would take us like 6 months to finish the project once we were out of school but rewriting the code to port on consoles, redesigning almost 50 levels, polishing everything took us longer than expected and this was our day job.”
Fluid motion is realistic in Puddle, so if you tilt too quickly, droplets will get left behind. If you tilt too slowly, however, you may not ramp up enough speed to make jumps.
