Kutaro can pick up a golden skull helmet that transforms him into a body slamming wrestler or the hook which turns him into a pirate with a handy hook arm.

Dynamite Headdy is one of Treasure’s Sega Genesis games where you played as a puppet that grabbed different kinds of heads as powerups. Puppeteer from Sony’s Japan Studio also has a character with swappable heads.

Puppeteer has you playing as Kutaro, who’s on a journey to get his head back from the evil Moon Bear King. Along the way, he’ll pick up other heads to serve as temporary heads.

Sony’s Japan Studio are working on a PlayStation 3 platformer, titled Puppeteer, and they released a Halloween trailer for the game this week.

Sony Computer Entertainment’s Japan Studio revealed Puppeteer, a platformer where you play as a young boy who is turned into a puppet. Players help Kutaro find his head and use a pair of magic scissors to cut through the level.

Right now, it’s just a trademark filed by Sony.
