Q Entertainment tweeted, “And for it to be playable on PSP, perhaps the original Rez might be more apropos?”
Q Entertainment brought Lumines Supernova to the PlayStation 3, but they don’t have plans for any more ports.
Namco Bandai is making a PC push. They just opened Namco Bandai Online, a subsidiary that specifically focuses on online PC games.
Konami posted a small (very small!) update on Ninety-Nine Nights II. The game’s new publisher released a batch of screenshots showing a darker world, rugged hero, and about two dozen clones.
Remember how we said Q Entertainment was doing something with PlayStation Home? They ended up making PlayStation Home avatar outfits.
Atari and synesthesia video game studio Q Entertainment announced QJ, a Wii title almost six months ago. After the initial blip both companies haven’t said anything about it, but development appears to be progressing.
Q Entertainment is usually associated with synesthesia music games. The studio also has stakes in cash op MMOs like Angel Love Online which got a PS3 client last year. This year Q Entertainment is giving Angel Senki the same treatment.
Q Entertainment has been quiet. Way too quiet. After working out a deal with Atari to repackage three Xbox Live Arcade games Mizuguchi’s studio fell off the radar. Maybe because Q Entertainment was covertly developing Guardian Hearts.
What is Q Entertainment founder Tetsuya Mizuguchi up to these days? Aside from traveling to the Big Island for a wedding he was starting a new project, which no longer exists.
Feelplus, known for Lost Odyssey, is developing N3 II: Ninety-Nine Nights. The game is a follow up to the lukewarm Ninety-Nine Nights, but Feelplus assures the sequel has been refined. See the new characters? At the very least, Inphyy and her whiny voice won’t return. The game also has two player support, presumably for co-op [...]
Q Entertainment released an expansion pack for Lumines Supernova containing 20 skins from the PSP game that started the series yesterday. With a name like “Classic Pack” you might expect “classic” songs like Shinin’, Lights, or Shake Ya Body. Well, you won’t find them here! The Classic Pack doesn’t have any licensed music from Mondo [...]
Out of all the Lumines games I enjoyed the first one the most. Partially because it was fresh, partially because of the soundtrack. Shinin’ was one catchy song. Mondo Grosso’s music hasn’t made its way into future releases, but maybe, just maybe, it will sneak into Lumines Supernova. Q Entertainment is working on a [...]
Slipping on to Xbox Live today is an expansion pack for Meteos Wars. Q Entertainment ported their DS game to Xbox Live Arcade late last year and during the transition some planets were lost in exchange for an avatar system. Well, if you love Meteos (who doesn’t?) and heart Meteos Wars you can get [...]
Namco Bandai has always taken care of Q Entertainment in Japan, but in North America Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s studio flipped between Ubisoft, Namco Bandai and Buena Vista Games. Moving forward Q Entertainment will work with Atari and their first joint project is Q3 (pronounced Qubed), a compilation disc of three Q Entertainment Xbox Live Arcade games. [...]
