Capcom announced Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, a retail package with Resident Evil 5 and all of the downloadable Alternative Edition episodes, costumes, and Mercenaries Reunion characters.

Capcom will release two Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition costume packs. One of them gives Chris the warrior outfit from the PC version and Sheva a sexy folklore dress.

You won’t need to purchase a shiny new game to play as Jill Valentine.

The collector’s edition includes an arranged soundtrack disc titled “Darkside Symphony”, a DVD with promo footage labeled “Darkside Flashback”, the game, and a reversible cover for 8,390 yen ($91).

Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition will be a boxed retail game in Japan, but that might not be the case in North America and Europe.
