Afrika’s journey to North America is about to end. Natsume announced they will release the virtual safari game on October 6.
Great to see Afrika stampeding stateside. You know, there is another story behind its release. The link between Natsume, Afrika, and Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is a hungry fish!
Sony passed on publishing Afrika outside of Asia, but the safari photo hunt game will get a domestic release from everyone’s favorite Harvest Moon publisher, Natsume.
Sony Computer Entertainment America hasn’t said anything about publishing Afrika in North America. The game is sort of a big deal in Asia since it’s getting fully localized into Chinese with a brand new name, Hakuna Matata. But, maybe, just maybe the Asian version will have English too.
