Nintendo started packaging Wii games rated CERO C (15+) and up in black boxes. Zangeki no Reginleiv being rated CERO D (17+) got the black box treatment.
In an Iwata Asks interview, Hitoshi Yamagami explains Zangeki no Reginleiv was in development for over three years.
Starting this year, all Nintendo games rated CERO C and up (that’s 15+) will be packaged with black boxes.
