Dynasty Warriors 8, a price cut for the PlayStation Vita, Professor Layton’s final adventure, and more anime games from Namco made for a busy week in Japan.

A magazine scan shows two characters will be added to Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus post launch.

Five days since its release in Japan, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus has sold 120,000 copies between boxed retail copies and downloads.

The last time we saw Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus it was all talk. This video is exactly the opposite, it’s all action. Watch Homura cut her way through an army of ninjas to fight Murasaki.

Dengeki PlayStation must love Senran Kagura. The magazine is going to do a 64 page feature with character illustrations and an interview about the bursting boobs ninja series leading up to the release of Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus.

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus supports ad-hoc and Wi-Fi for multiplayer. Point competition is like a regular deathmatch mode where its every kunoichi for themselves.

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus isn’t all costume breaks and slashing through dozens of ninja. Marvelous AQL also added event scenes where the girls talk to each other.

A ninja war is about to break out and in Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus there are four different ninja academies fighting against each other. In addition to characters from the original Senran Kagura and Kagura Burst, there are new heroines made for Vita.

Players can go into Vital Drive mode at any time during the combat by holding the R button and using the touchscreen. While stripped, the character’s speed and power increases greatly.

The PlayStation Vita game has a four player battle mode called Panty Struggle where you run around collecting panties that fall from the sky. You can also beat up other players to steal the panties they collected.
