Marvelous AQL released new screenshots of Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus and if you’ve been following the series you might recognize Homura.

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus has an original story to follow plus side stories for every character in the game called the Flower Blooming Chronicles.

Players will be able to change costumes in Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus. Dengeki PlayStation reports the game will have ninja clothes, cheerleading outfits, aprons (just an apron), and underwear outfits.

The series will debut on the AT-X channel.

Miyabi and Imu are much older than the average ninja in Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus. Both characters were involved in an accident that left Miyabi without her memories and Imu hospitalized for a year.

Miyabi voiced by Hiromi Hirata is 21 years old and was a member before Homura. While she was on a mission an accident happened and Miyabi lost her memory.

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus has ten new characters Kenichiro Takaki said to Siliconera. Five of them have been revealed so far and next week’s issue of Famitsu will reveal at least three more.

“We would like to continue the main series on the Nintendo 3DS or if there is a successor to the 3DS, Kagura will continue there,” Takaki said to Siliconera.

Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki didn’t shy away from talking about the full costume break system in Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus.

“One of the reason I wanted to make a Vita game is because the Vita is a really powerful machine and I wanted to take advantage of that. The other reason is because I didn’t just want to show off boobs, but I wanted to show off butts too,” Takaki explained.

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus adds new characters and has different gameplay compared to the Nintendo 3DS games.
