Silent Hill: Book of Memories is out in North America, but Japan doesn’t have the game yet.
“A lot of the delays correspond with the [Silent Hill: Revelation] movie,” Konami’s Tomm Hulett shared with Siliconera.
Konami confirmed a release date for the game this morning, along with a launch trailer.
Before hopping into the game proper, I had a chance to look through the menu, where I had the ability to customize my character a little bit.
Konami haven’t officially announced a release date yet, but they did release a batch of new screenshots.
Book of Memories starts with your character receiving a book that has their entire life story up until that point recorded in it.
Konami are targeting October for the PlayStation Vita multiplayer game’s release now.
Also, the PlayStation Vita game changes the story depending on the gender of the main character.
Silent Hill: Downpour follows with a March 13 release date and the multiplayer game Silent Hill: Book of Memories comes out for Vita on March 27.

Silent Hill: Book of Memories revolves around a mysterious book, which captures all of the players memories and cannot be changed. (
Konami also say that Book of Memories will feature several classic Silent Hill monstrosities.
The NGP will be seeing a new Silent Hill game in the form of Silent Hill: Book of Memories.
