SNK wouldn’t pass on releasing a Metal Slug game here so it’s not a *huge* surprise to see Metal Slug XX rated by the ESRB.
Seems like SNK Playmore is working on two versions of Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny a fatality free teen rated release for Japan and a carnage cut for North America.
SNK is developing Metal Slug XX for the PSP and like Metal Slug X it looks like a remix.
Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny combatants have sharp swords. When you finish off an opponent with a heavy slash limbs and heads fly. Well, at least in the North American build Ignition brought to E3.
SNK plans to release Samurai Spirits Sen (aka Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny) in Japan on December 10 with an eye catching cover.
We first saw King of Fighters Sky Stage as an Xbox Live Arcade game. Before it comes to consoles, SNK will bring the bizarre shooter to arcades.
In addition to patching The King of Fighters XII, SNK is also developing Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny. The game, which was made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the swordfighting series, is scheduled to arrive in North America this November.
SNK knows The King of Fighters XII has buggy online play. They released a patch that addressed “minor performance issues.” Now they’re getting to tackling other problems like the Raiden/Elisabeth animation glitch.
