Sega and Sony are working together to bring Sonic into the PlayStation 3 version of LittleBigPlanet.

Another Sonic the Hedgehog collection? Yep, it looks that way since Australia’s OFLC rated a game called Sonic Classic Collection for the Nintendo DS.

Cooperating to make the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is one thing, both companies have an invested interest in the series. Now, Nintendo is taking their relationship with Sega a step further by localizing and publishing Sonic Rush Adventure in Korea.

Sonic turned 18 years old yesterday. Many websites said “Happy Birthday” to the blue blur while some vocal fans pleaded with Sega to “stop with the kiddie games!” OK, Sonic doesn’t have the love he used to, but Sonic still has a lot of respect in Taiwan.

As a pre-E3 surprise Sega announced a mascot racing game. Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing includes Sonic and other cutesy characters like AiAi from Super Monkey Ball and Amigo from Samba de Amigo.

Gunstar Heroes won’t be the only Genesis classic coming to Xbox Live Arcade this summer. Comix Zone, Phantasy Star II, and Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are all slated for the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, PlayStation 3 owners only get Gunstar Heroes.

Now on the Xbox Live Marketplace worldwide and PlayStation Store only in Japan is a Chun-nan Adventure Pack for Sonic Unleashed. Four stages with Sonic racing through China and two Werehog levels are included in the 250 Microsoft Point ($3.12) expansion.

He makes snowmen. Sonic the Hedgehog snowmen leading a pack of tiny snowmen. While tiny Miura’s snow sculpture gets bonus points for keeping Sonic’s spiky hair, a lingering sign of Sonic’s ‘tude.
