Sony reported losses due to weak PlayStation sales and impacts from natural disasters in 2011, but expect things to take a turn for the better this year.

Sony Computer Entertainment is recording a teaser for a future Killzone game, a source tells Siliconera that starts with “My sons and my daughters, today we take the first step toward our imperial future.”

Sony are making changes to their internal game studios in Europe once again.

Games purchased earlier will not be affected and can still be activated on say five different PS3s, but PSN downloads afterwards will be capped at two activations. Users will need to deactivate a game if they want to run it on a third device.

Sony has a list of biometric gameplay mechanics too like difficulty levels that change depending on how stress a player is and characters that sync up to your physiological state.

PlayStation Vita is backwards compatible with PSP games, but only downloadable versions. So, what happens to that stack of UMDs you own?
