Confirming the Famitsu news from last night, Irem formally announced Steambot Chronicles 2 has been canceled. In a letter to fans, the company thanked fans for patronage of their past titles.

Famitsu’s release calendar brings bad news about Irem’s sequel to Steambot Chronicles. According to the magazine, Steambot Chronicles 2 has been canceled.

Bumpy Trot 2 is still in development and Irem are trying to release it “as soon as they can.”
