Sting took Yggdra Unison in a different direction by making this title more like a real time strategy game.
Two trailers later, Sting gives us a glimpse of battle footage. This movie shows off Force Burst attacks, special attacks with a limit break-like quality to them.
A new Yggdra Unison video explains how to trigger Unison Attacks, combination attacks with allied units, on the Nintendo DS. While the controls are different (very different!), the system works just like the mobile phone release.
Sting isn’t ready to release battle videos of Hexyz Force yet. We do have some gameplay footage from their upcoming PSP RPG, though!
Hexyz Force, Sting’s first original RPG for PSP, won’t arrive in stores until November 12 (yeah, that’s the same day as Lunar), but why wait until then to see the intro video?
Sting released screenshots of Yggdra Unison — the DS version of Ygddra Unison which we placed next to screens from the mobile phone release.
Famitsu revealed another Sting game this week and since it’s not tied to Dept. Heaven it’s bound to get less attention. Hexyz Force is a PSP game set in a brand new world torn between light and dark.
Sting is giving the Japan-only mobile phone game, Yggdra Unison: Beat Out Our Obstacle, an expanded port on the Nintendo DS. However, Yggdra Unison: Seiken Buyuuden isn’t a sequel, it’s an alternate universe scenario.
Knights in the Nightmare begins with the longest tutorial in a Nintendo DS game ever. You can ignore it, but you really should complete it. All of it. Even the 70+ tip section. Knights in the Nightmare is as unique as it is complex.
My favorite thing about art books is commentary from the creators. How else would you know the bust size of the Luminous Arc witches? The Tome of Lost Souls book shares equally insightful information like how the Knights are designed.
