Suikoden Tierkreis: Left Me Starstruck

By Jenni . April 29, 2009 . 12:49pm

Suikoden Tierkreis is a fairly well executed, engaging and promising portable RPG. It has practically everything a player could want. The atmosphere and presense of the DS version may not have the same epic effect as the console Suikoden entries, but it is still a very good RPG.

Sending Stars Into The Infinity In Suikoden Tierkreis

By Jenni . April 24, 2009 . 9:40am

Suikoden Tierkreis offers a Wi-Fi opportunity that we’ve also seen in Fire Emblem DS – character exchanges. Don’t feel like level grinding characters? Want to unlock unusual items? Then visit Wahie in the Infinity Corridor to send or host visitors.   Missions all have a time limit on how long they’ll be in effect. This […]

Suikoden Staples You Won’t Find In Suikoden Tierkreis

By Jenni . April 19, 2009 . 3:14pm

I’ve just started my Suikoden Tierkreis adventure, and while there are some familiar elements, certain touches help definite it as a spin-off series. Many of the hallmarks of the series, found in Suikoden I through V, are gone.   Ouran Company of Trapnest Castle, led by the almighty Reno, is only just beginning to make […]

Here’s An English Suikoden: Tierkreis Trailer

By Spencer . February 12, 2009 . 3:56pm

Konami is giving Suikoden: Tierkreis a push with a US trailer that looks like its made for a Hollywood film. The clip cuts in a bit of gameplay footage with the game’s animated cutscenes and explains very little about the online community feature.   New to the Suikoden series is unit trading. Players can pass […]

Konami is expediting Suikoden: Tierkreis’ localization. We already have some screens of the English build which is on track for release in North America this March, around three months after the Nintendo DS game comes out in Japan. Your quest in Suikoden: Tierkreis is to gather the 108 Stars of Destiny (again) to overthrow One […]

Suikoden Tierkreis is scheduled to come out in Japan on December 18 and Star of Destiny seekers won’t have to wait a year to play it in English. I spoke with a representative from Konami Computer Entertainment America who informed me they are already working on localizing the DS game. It’s on target for “early […]

Someday Suikoden: Tierkreis will be in English

By Spencer . September 16, 2008 . 7:42am

Suikoden: Tierkreis is going international. Konami Computer Entertainment America sent out a press release confirming they will publish the Nintendo DS Suikoden game outside of Japan. This shouldn’t come as a surprise since Konami registered a trademark for Suikoden: Tierkreis back in August.   Only three members of the Stars of Destiny are around at […]
