“I’d like people to take some freer approaches with their gameplay,” says Super Smash Bros. creator, Masahiro Sakurai.
“My upper arm hurts, and there’s this chronic dull pain in my elbow joint as well,” Sakurai shares.
Using a mouse, keyboard or gamepad add to the strain, so Sakurai’s solution is to use a trackball instead of a mouse.
All three games will make their debut at this year’s E3, says Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata.
Grab the original Nintendo 64 game for 200 Club Nintendo coins.
“The game system itself is complete, so we don’t want to make it 3D or introduce complicated controls just for the sake of it,” Sakurai says.
Kid Icarus: Uprising studio, Project Sora, has been closed. However, Masahiro Sakurai’s company, Sora Ltd., still seems to be around.
“Currently, the prototype prepared by Namco Bandai Games and Namco Bandai Studio’s special team looks pretty good, and it’s working great,” says director, Masahiro Sakurai.
“Project Sora had intended to make a 3DS Smash Bros. once it had finished up a game on the system and had gotten used to the hardware’s feature set,” Sakurai revealed.
