While the rhythm game market is on ice in the West, Japan is still purchasing music games like the Taiko Drum Master series.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Accel World: Apex of Acceleration made their debut in Japan last week. Meanwhile, Fantasy Life continues to sell.
Initially announced way back in 2010, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney was finally released in Japan last week.
Namco Bandai is going all out for Taiko no Tatsujin: Super Splendid Edition. The upcoming Wii game has 100 songs including themes from Monster Hunter Tri G, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Dragon Quest X, and a song from Hatsune Miku.
The game will also have Dragon Quest and Hatsune Miku collaborations.
