Namco Bandai’s latest video for Tales of Hearts R shows a bunch of anime cutscenes created by Production I.G. plus the game’s revised battle system.

There are some details about the team hi-ouigis too. Jadeite and Amber can use Golden Eagle Gun: Repeating Wind & Final Fury.

First print copies of Tales of Hearts R include a second game, Tales of Hearts R: Infinite Evolve. Namco Bandai says this is a 2D action RPG and it looks like they reused sprites from Tales of Hearts – the DS version.

Tales fans can unwrap a Tales of Hearts R demo on Christmas Day. That’s Namco Bandai’s holiday present for Japan and Vita owners that have more than one memory card.

Namco Bandai released more tiny trailers for Tales of Hearts R. We have movies of Beryl Benito, Amber’s brother Jadeite Hearts (aka Hisui Hearts in Japan), and some of the characters you’ll meet on your journey.

Namco Bandai will release Tales of Hearts R on March 7 and if you pick it up at launch you’ll get two games. First print copies include a code to download Tales of Hearts R Infinite Evolve, a 2D action RPG.

Namco Bandai released new clips of Tales of Hearts R’s battle system. Watch Shing juggle an enemy soldier and Amber make a cone of fire erupt from the ground.

Namco Bandai shipped 15 million Tales of games worldwide. That figure includes the 420,000 units from Tales of Xillia 2 which came out in Japan on November 1.

Garad Grinas is another new playable character for Tales of Hearts R. He’s armed with a machete for close range attacks and throwing axes for mid-range enemies.

Namco Bandai have shared four more character videos of the cast from Tales of Hearts R.

New Tales of Hearts R party member, Garad Grinas, is the highlight of these screenshots for the game.

Famitsu has a follow up report for Tales of Hearts R which announced key staff behind the Vita re-imagining. Hironori Naoi is the game’s director. Ryuji Odate and Mika Murakita are listed as producers.

Namco Bandai released a few clips from Tales of Hearts R. If you played the DS version you probably remember Shing Meteoryte and Kohak Hearts.
