Square Enix loves their countdown sites and are teasing a reveal for January 17. The news popped up on their RSS feed with this amusing headline – ( ･ω･)＝つ≡つ 2013.1.17 ⊂≡⊂＝(･ω･ ).

Scans from the next issue of Famitsu discuss the project with lots of whited out text. One thing for sure is the countdown has Big Boss now and will show Raiden later.

A teaser site is up for a “NEW GAME” by Square Enix with few clues other than a futuristic city and a quote from John F. Kennedy. It reads, “The world is very different now. For a man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life.”
