By Spencer . February 8, 2010 . 2:33pm

Telltale has been too busy with other projects like Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures and Tales of Monkey Island to update us on Sam & Max, but it looks like season three is coming soon.

A WiiWare potpourri and Mega Man 2

By Spencer . September 15, 2008 . 6:51am

Mega Man 2 is lonely, it’s the only Virtual Console game released this week. Blasting eight robot masters and the gust blowing dragon in Wily’s lair costs 500 Wii Points. Mega Man 2 is well worth the price if you don’t already own the Mega Man: Anniversary Collection disc.   Strong Bad Episode 2: Strong […]

Learn to become attractive with Strong Bad Episode 1

By Jenni . August 11, 2008 . 7:10am

The first episode of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, Homestar Ruiner is truly a game for the fans, and an entertaining point-and-click for everyone else. Its the kind of game where you have to pay attention when the characters are talking, not because you may miss something (though that could happen as well), but because you’ll miss more of the snarky humor Matt and Mike Chapman’s series is known for.

Should I pick up Strongbad or Star Parodier?

By Spencer . August 11, 2008 . 7:03am

Ys Books I & II is nowhere to be found, but this week’s WiiWare / Virtual Console update is solid without it. Telltale Games brings Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner. The 1,000 Wii Points ($10) episode has Strong Bad dress up in a Homestar Runner costume as part of […]

As said on the Telltale’s blog entry, “this time the dog's naked.” Yeah, details are being held back for their Comic Con panel on Saturday. Even the platform(s) Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures will […]

Telltale brings Strong Bad to WiiWare

By Spencer . April 10, 2008 . 10:39am

I’m surprised Telltale’s WiiWare game has nothing to do with Sam & Max, Bone or any other existing franchise. Instead, they are working with Videlectrix to release Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People (aka SBCG4AP) to WiiWare in June. Five episodes will be released this “season” on a monthly schedule.   From June to […]

Dreamcatcher and the Sam & Max Season One rerun

By Spencer . April 4, 2008 . 9:55am

Sam & Max is coming to the Wii and Telltale Games isn’t using WiiWare for the transition. The six episodes that make up Sam & Max Season One will be repackaged on a disc and distributed by Dreamcatcher this fall. Telltale hasn’t outlined any details about extra content, but they claim “the new Wii version […]

On May 12, Nintendo’s download service for original Wii games, WiiWare, will launch in North America. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (trademark officially confirmed) is on the list along with LostWinds and a new (!) episodic game series from Telltale, the developers of the new Sam & Max games. A week […]
