Falcom ups sales and net profit forecast because the long-awaited Trails sequel is on track will be released in their next fiscal term.
What’s interesting is the name of the re-release – The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue New Chapter Commemoration Budget Price Version.
On April 16, Falcom will release two Trails series art books covering The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Trails of Zero, and Trails of Blue.
This Legend of Heroes package is particularly interesting because it comes in a shiny gold box and I believe it’s the only video game bundle with the Japan Game Awards on the cover.
“The way we make games now is different than before when we were primarily developing PC games. We would like to take the knowledge we gained and use our development skills to create a new IP.”
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue led last week’s new releases in Japan.
The hero and heroine from The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Third Chapter make a grand re-appearance in The Legend of the Heroes: Trails of Blue.

While we’re waiting for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter, Japan is gearing up for The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki (Trails of Blue).
Falcom tweeted a photo of the official buyers guide (read: brochure) for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue. You can see Noel and Wazy, supporting characters from Trails of Zero, in battle.
Randy Orlando from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero will be a playable character, Dengeki PlayStation confirms.
