When Kadokawa Games brought The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero to PlayStation Vita they added more voiceovers and tons of bugs.
Last week saw a slate of new releases in Japan, with Namco Bandai’s The Idolm@ster Shiny Festa taking the top spot.
Last week’s biggest release in Japan was The Little Battlers W, the newest game in Level 5′s mecha series, but it wasn’t actually very “big” at all.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution was released for the PlayStation Vita this week in Japan. Here’s the latest trailer.
“Kadokawa approached us later about the possibility of them redoing the game with full voice acting. The amount of work involved in that and the resources that’s something we couldn’t even imagine with the limited resources we have.”
OK, Kadokawa Games, we get the point. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution has a lot of voiceovers, way more than the PSP version Falcom released in 2010.

As previously reported, the game was originally scheduled for release in August but has been delayed to the fall.
Dengeki PlayStation announced a slight delay for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution. The game was slated for release in August, but has been rescheduled for a fall 2012 release.
On top of adding extra side-stories and upping the graphics, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution utilizes Vita features like the touch screen and tilt control for mini-games.
On April 16, Falcom will release two Trails series art books covering The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Trails of Zero, and Trails of Blue.
