Level-5 says The Little Battlers W will be the first game that supports cross hardware play between PSP and PlayStation Vita. The Little Battlers W supports up to six players with three Little Battlers on each side.

Heroes Ban Yamano and Hiro Oozora also get new LBXes midway through the game when Pegasus and Elysion break down.

Level 5 have released a trailer for their follow-up to The Little Battlers eXperience, titled The Little Battlers W.

Both versions will be released on the same day.

Level-5 is making a brand new Little Battlers game for the Nintendo 3DS called The Little Battlers W. Using “W” in Japanese is moniker for “double” (remember W-Magic from Final Fantasy VII?) and the “W” here represents the game’s two heroes.

New The Little Battlers games are headed to the Nintendo 3DS and PSP, according to CoroCoro magazine.
