Konami will be holding a pre-E3 press conference on June 6th, and will be streaming it live.

The well known writer-cum-voice-actor behind the voice of Snake will not be reprising his role for Metal Gear Solid V.

“Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are two separate games,” Konami clarified to Siliconera.

Metal Gear Solid V begins with Snake waking up in a hospital after having been in a coma for nine years.

The Phantom Pain is indeed Metal Gear Solid V, Kojima Productions revealed at a keynote by Hideo Kojima at the Game Developers Conference.

“I think the era of sticking to graphic or sound is over,” tweets Metal Gear Solid creator, Hideo Kojima.

Square Enix, who own the Play Arts brand of action figures, sent Kojima figures in his likeness with Raiden’s costume.
