Namco Bandai’s second Accel World game and the third Japan-only Kinect dancing game from Boost On are heading to stores too.
Nippon Ichi Software has a PS3 game that melds Disgaea and their roguelike Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman. The God and Fate Revolution Paradox lets you decorate Renya, an angel who can change Cinderella’s fate.
After two weeks off, Japan has a couple of releases like DmC: Devil May Cry which comes out worldwide this week.
Japan is still on New Year’s break so we won’t see any imports until next week, but there are new releases in North America and Europe.
Level-5 isn’t taking a break for the holidays like other publishers. They have two games scheduled for this week, Fantasy Life and a 3DS compilation of six Inazuma Eleven games.
Namco Bandai’s One Piece role playing game, One Piece: Romance Dawn, is coming out this week. The game covers the Romance Dawn storyline plus other arcs like Thriller Bark and Impel Down.
Inazuma Eleven Go 2 comes out this week and like other games in the series Level-5 will release two versions of the time-traveling soccer RPG.
Nintendo is getting ready to unleash Wii U in Japan and the system has backing from Capcom with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate as a launch title.
Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney comes out in Japan this week with a brand new storyline and a witch hunt trial system.
Capcom is going to gun to gun against Square Enix this week with E.X. Troopers.
Felistella has their Summon Night 4 PSP port and FuRyu’s first person dungeon crawler Unchained Blades Exxiv are scheduled to come out this week too.
Halo 4 gears up for a worldwide release this week and I wonder if Microsoft will have any interesting promotions for Japan like they did with Gears of War way back when.
Tales of Xillia skyrocketed to the top of the sales charts last year. With so much fervor around the Tales series, we expect Tales of Xillia 2 to do the same.
