Another week of slow sales. The highest-selling game in Japan last week was Namco Bandai’s Summon Night 5, which sold 105,511 copies in its first week.
Typically, sales across the board—including both hardware and software—drop the week after a major holiday like Golden Week. That’s exactly what happened last week.
Last week, Capcom released Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen in Japan. The game debuted at the #2 spot on the top-20 software sales chart.
Tomodachi Collection: New Life got off to a strong start with sales of over 400,000 copies in its first week, and Nintendo’s president says download sales are going well, too.
