Aspect, the company that makes the Naruto: Ninja Council games, created a side scrolling Thundercats game for the Nintendo DS. You play as Lion-O and the other Thundercats are assist characters.

While this looks like a throwback tot he ’80s, the upcoming Thundercats game is based on the new anime series.

Thundercats picks up at the very beginning of the story with the Lizard army advancing on Thundera. Lion-O, armed with the Sword of Omens, runs into battle and that’s when I began to kick lizard tail.
