Namco Bandai must be gearing up for another Time Crisis game since they trademarked Time Crisis 2nd Strike and made a logo for it.

Scrolling through more patent designs I found this accessory registered by Namco Bandai in Europe on March 9, 2009. The unnamed controller looks like a light gun, but it is different from the Guncons currently on the market.

Light gun games are back in fashion. Sega is leading the pack with more House of the Dead games, one of which is designed for an arcade date. Even smaller developers are getting in on the action to with WiiWare games for the morbidly curious.

This past month a handful of PlayStation 3 games got unannounced, automatic updates. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock addressed lag issues in its 1.01 update. Later, Andrew over at PS3 Fanboy discovered Heavenly Sword got an 18 MB update that added rumble support.
