Sega is surely working on a new game starring Sonic the Hedgehog. The question is what will the game’s name be and will Sonic have any new friends. One of those questions may have been answered.
Last week, Siliconera revealed that Sony Computer Entertainment America was preparing a marketing campaign for PlayStation 4 centered around the slogan “Greatness Awaits.” SCEA filed a trademark for “Greatness Awaits” too. Hmm…

Aside from the Digimon online PC games Namco Bandai hasn’t done much with the series in the West. Out of the blue, Bandai filed a trademark for Digital Monsters specifically for use with video game software.
Level-5 also registered Wonderflick and Retro Drop Adventurer Note on the same day.
With sales numbers close to a million for Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D it makes sense to remake Dragon Quest Monsters 2. A trademark hints that Square Enix may be working on one too.
Not to be confused with New Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Maiden from Atlus, Square Enix filed a trademark for Millennium Hero in Japan. Siliconera also dug up a trademark for Hagun Student Council.
The name of Respawn Entertainment’s game may have been revealed thanks to a trademark filing in the USPTO. Respawn Entertainment registered Titan for use with video game software.
Namco Bandai filed a trademark from Tekken Arena in Europe for use with videos. Siliconera actually first learned of Tekken Card Tournament through a trademark, which is available on iOS, Android, and web browsers now.
Square Enix filed a trademark for The Mad & The Monstrous in Europe, which isn’t tied to any announced game so far. Siliconera also found a domain name registration for themadandthemonstrous.com.
Fantasy Life has a trademark in the U.S. as well, filed by developer Level 5.
Square Enix Europe have filed a trademark for something titled Lara Croft Reflections in the U.S., Siliconera has discovered.
Life simulation games are quite popular in Japan with Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Fantasy Life selling out in Japan. Maybe Square Enix is going to jump on the genre with Fantasy Village?
