Sega released custom Resonance of Fate themes for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, one of which is 100% Leanne.
Leanne, the female lead in Resonance of Fate, wishes you Happy Valentine’s day and has a bar of End of Eternity chocolate as a gift.
As of last week, Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a multi-platform game. However, it took a year for the PlayStation 3 version to come out. How come?
Star Ocean 3 got a director’s cut, so will Star Ocean: The Last Hope get one too? A fan brought that question to Yoshinori Yamagishi, the game’s producer.
Zephyr, Vasheron, and Leanne are stylish heroes. In Resonance of Fate they have selectable outfits, some designed by Japanese fashion labels. Leanne (aka Reanbell) also gets a console exclusive t-shirt.
Resonance of Fate has Matrix-like gunfights, but nothing too graphic. The ESRB gave Resonance of Fate a “T” rating for blood, mild language, sexual themes, and grenade kicking.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Star Ocean: The Last Hope International are pretty much the same game, but Square Enix is marketing the game differently on each platform.
Reanbell is in the holiday spirit. Fire up the Resonance of Fate demo tomorrow or today, depending on where you live, and she greets you with “Merry Christmas.” Can’t wait? Then watch this video.
Maybe you know it as Resonance of Fate instead. Either way, you can sample Tri-Ace’s next game right now.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope International has more than Japanese voices and anime portraits. Square Enix’s European newsletter slipped news that the PlayStation 3 port has “additional characters.”
Not sure about Resonance of Fate’s gun blazing t.a.B battle system? Demo it first. Sega is preparing a downloadable demo for December 22.
Square Enix sent over new screenshots of Star Ocean: The Last Hope International which show something the international Xbox 360 version didn’t have.
Sega shared new screenshots of Resonance of Fate’s t.A.B. battle system with Zephyr in the middle of a gunfight.
Resonance of Fate doesn’t have a fancy game board system. You level by accumulating experience points.
