Former Team Ninja lead, Tomonobu Itagaki, has a role model you may not know about.

But fans needn’t worry, as he’ll likely end up staying in the games industry until he dies.

Tomonobu Itagaki’s last game was Ninja Gaiden II and that was when he was still at Tecmo. Since leaving, he and the President of Tecmo USA formed a new company, Valhalla Game Studios.

When Tomonobu Itagaki split from Tecmo he brought a number of ex-Team Ninja staff from his former company with him. The parties split on sour terms, but Tecmo Koei extended an olive branch.

There is, surprisingly, an answer to this question.

Valhalla Game Studios, a newly formed company developer with Dead or Alive creator Tomonobu Itagaki and Satoshi Kanematsu, is working on of a “big project for high definition game consoles.”
