NHN Japan worked with Sega to make a social card game called Valkyria Duel. It’s already available for Android and PC. Now, it’s on iOS too.

While it doesn’t play like the other Valkyria games, Valkyria Duel is quite popular in Japan. More than 1.5 million people downloaded Valkyria Duel and the number of players should rise again since Hangame just released an Android version.

Sega put that Valkyria Duel trademark to use and just announced a card game with characters from the entire Valkyria Chronicles series. Valkyria Duel has over 200 characters and 3D battle scenes.

New trademarks from Akiba’s Trip and Class of Heroes developer Acquire hint that the company may be making a game called Chrono Academy. Acquire filed a trademark for the potential title in Japanese and English.
