Sony isn’t waiting to see how White Knight Chronicles does in the West before investing in a sequel. White Knight Chronicles 2 is already in development.
Before White Knight Chronicles comes to North America a revised version of the game is scheduled for Japan.
White Knight Chronicles isn’t even out in North America, but a sequel is in the cards. Famitsu broke the news while detailing the 2nd Wave patch.
White Knight Chronicles won’t come out in North America and Europe until early next year. Sony plans on developing the game, specifically the online portion further, before shipping White Knight Chronicles overseas.
Sony is gearing up for a domestic release of White Knight Chronicles and sent out an English trailer. It’s amazing how shuffling clips and changing the background music gives the game a completely different feel.
Online play is half of the White Knight Chronicles experience, but in Japan you can only communicate with other players by typing messages. Imagine trying to type “HEAL ME!” while evading a giant troll foot from squishing you. The good news is the North American version may have voice chat.
