Nintendo’s Wii Balance Board — the device used to play Wii Fit — was recently awarded with a Guiness World Record

European publisher Big Ben Interactive is making a bid for the Wii fitness genre with two titles, one of which comes with a full-size exercise bike.

Last month we reported Nintendo was releasing a standalone disc of Wii Fit Plus in Japan for the low price of 2,000 yen ($22). Nintendo of America is following suit.

Multiple retailers in Japan are taking pre-orders for two versions of Wii Fit Plus. A balance board bundle goes for 9,800 yen ($105) while a standalone game only costs 2,000 yen ($22).

Prepare for an announcement about Wii Fit Plus at Nintendo’s E3 press conference next Tuesday. A trademark with an English logo for Wii Fit Plus in the Japanese trademark database.
