A former Nintendo joint venture subsidiary, Nd Cube, has been absorbed and transformed into an R&D division, with several Hudson employees now working for the firm.

While Fate/Extra couldn’t crash Nintendo’s Wii Party, it still debuted very respectably for a Marvelous game.

Nintendo’s next bridge game, Wii Party, is set to release this Fall. The title includes 13 party games and 70 minigames. Nintendo hope to further encourage social interaction with it. While Japan gets Wii Party this July, North America and Europe will have to wait until Fall.

Wii owners hankering for another “party” game can look forward to Wii Party. The game, which first appeared in a Nintendo financial presentation, is sailing to stores on July 8.
“According to our own survey, we know that more than 160 million Miis have been created by our customers,” Nintendo president Satoru Iwata explained at an investor briefing.
