Publishing arrangements for Marvelous AQL games to remain flexible, says Director of Publishing Ken Berry.
Xseed grew today starting with the acquisition of Atlus Online from Index Digital Media. Atlus Online handles MMORPGs like BattleSpace, Knights of the Sky, Pandora Saga, and Shin Megami Tensei Imagine.

Marvelous AQL and localization subsidiary, Xseed, are being sued by an independent developer.
Shinichi Suzuki was the President and CEO of Atlus USA from 2004 to 2012. During that time Atlus USA grew the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series plus picked up a bunch of titles like Baroque, 3D Dot Game Heroes, and Demon’s Souls.
Orgarhythm, a PlayStation Vita music meets strategy game from Acquire and Xseed, is looking for song submissions. Acquire said they will release up to 100 extra songs as downloadable content, but they need music first.

Xseed is teasing an announcement on Twitter and they caught our attention because they posted a picture of a Tyrannosaurus as one of the clues.
Rising Star Product Marketing Manager, Yen Hau, shared with us that their exclusive publishing agreement with Marvelous extends only to Europe.

“Rising Star’s expansion into the North American market does not affect us in any way,” Xseed’s Director of Publishing, Ken Berry, shared with us in an e-mail.
Sumioni is particularly interesting because Xseed shares ownership of the intellectual property with Acquire. A representative from Xseed confirmed this news with Siliconera.
Xseed localized and released The Legend of the Heroes: Trails in the Sky on PSP, but they are not involved with the smartphone releases or Aeria Games’ partnership with Falcom.
