Ys Seven is only two weeks away. Xseed announced August 17 as the game’s release date for retail stores and PlayStation Network.

While Adol could carry one healing herb and had a heal ring in Ys III, he’ll have to fight without a stash of healing items in Ys: The Oath in Felghana.

Since Xseed doesn’t have a European branch games like Lunar: Silver Star Harmony have not been released in Europe yet. Falcom titles including the upcoming release of Ys SEVEN won’t have this problem.

While Ys Seven was completed by Xseed, they publisher went with an outside of the box strategy for their Ys: The Oath in Felghana localization. (Bonus look at the box art inside.)

Starting this summer, Falcom’s suite of PSP games are coming to North America care of Xseed.

When it comes to the Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki: Alternative Saga roster, Falcom is as quiet as Adol. Adol, Dogi, Joshua, and Estelle are in the game for sure.

Falcom, the company behind Ys, Legend of Heroes, and Brandish, are Twitter teasing.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana may be a classic from 2005, but a lot more people are going to be exposed to it very soon.
