Seeing NIS America with a localized version of Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida was quite a surprise. How does the English release, Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman, hold up?
PlayStation Home has a game based on Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! and it’s sort of like an 8-bit RPG! Yuusha no Kuse Ni Namaikida www gives players a chance to slay the Devil King and win avatar t-shirts.
Defying all odds NIS America picked up Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida which will be renamed Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman: What did I do to deserve this? when it comes out in North America this July. A great name for a fantastic quirky game. In the game players make a dungeon and manage an [...]
Now that the native PSP PlayStation Store is open for business Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is pushing downloadable games and downloadable content. Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2 has been out for a month and the first downloadable episode the Devil King’s Day Off is live. For an extra 300 yen ($3) get to [...]
Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida was a good concept, but a terse title. The UMD disc felt more like a PlayStaton Network game with only a single kingdom’s 8 bit warriors brave enough to enter the Lord of Destruction’s lair. I understand the arcade focus, you’re supposed to play Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida over [...]
In October Sony’s two tiered price structure for first party PSP games starts in Japan. Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or2, an expanded sequel to last year’s awesome dungeon management simulator with blocky Dragon Quest inspired graphics, will be a distributed as a downloadable PlayStation Network game and in retail stores. About a 1,000 yen [...]
Sony is shifting its first party published PSP games retail strategy in Japan this October. Bleach: Soul Carnival and Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or2 will be simultaneously sold as retail games and downloadable titles. If you don’t care about having a box and a physical UMD disc you can save around a 1,000 yen [...]
Do you hate being the hero? Dream of razing towns with an ecosystem of monsters? Loved Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida? Then Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or2 is the game for you. Sony quietly announced the game’s release date, October 16 in Japan, on the official page. I’m pretty surprised it’s coming out so [...]
Time’s up. The “or2” splash page is for a sequel to Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida! Acquire didn’t go back to the drawing board with the sequel to their dungeon management series. You still use a pickaxe to make a maze, create a lair, and mine nutrients. The difference is you have a world map [...]
A teaser countdown crept in the slideshow on the SCEJ page with the words “orz”. If you click on the “Z” it turns into a 2 (orz or two?) and a slime crawls on the bottom of the screen (pictured). The slime looks just like the slime from Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida, which could [...]
