Zelda Calculators, Animal Crossing Clocks – The Future Of DSiWare?

By Spencer . October 24, 2008 . 10:10pm

Tiny Cartridge pointed out an interview (in Japanese) with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata that I missed. In a discussion with the DSi staff he mentions some ideas he has for DSiWare applications like a Zelda Calculator, an Animal Crossing Clock, and street maps for large cities. Iwata’s idea is to sell these DSiWare toys for […]

Link learns Korean in April

By Spencer . March 7, 2008 . 7:47pm

The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass is old news for most of the world, but not South Korean where Link is about to make a debut. This isn’t his first appearance thanks to importing, but this will be one of the rare times where Link’s adventure is fully localized in Hangul. In case you […]

There are 27 stages to plow through where you shoot bulls-eyes, skeletons and bokoblins as crossbow wielding Link. Link's Crossbow Training isn't just an on rails shooter either. In ranger levels you move link with the control stick and raid an enemy base. For a $20 pack-in game The Link’s Crossbow Training is looking […]

Nintendo sent over an e-mail confirming that Link’s Crossbow Training will be bundled with the Wii Zapper shell. The whole package is set in the backdrop of the Twilight Princess, which means you’ll be playing as adult Link. The […]

Link and Sonic appear in Robot Chicken

By Spencer . September 10, 2007 . 3:13am

Did you catch Robot Chicken last night/this morning? In between sketches about Barbie dolls and He-Man, Robot Chicken poked fun at two series of video games. Poor Link is trying to get a “reward” from Zelda, but will she give in after eight previous records? If you missed it the episode is online. Watch it […]

Retail Rumblings: 40GB Playstation 3, Zelda Crossbow training?

By Spencer . September 10, 2007 . 12:12am

Opposable Thumbs has a pretty good track record when it comes to retail leaks too and they have two scoops. During this weekend’s Gamestop conference one source tipped them off to the Wii Zapper pack in game, Zelda Crossbow training. A $20 zapper shell and a Zelda game should be a sure fire hit, […]

Good old Yujin created a set of awesome looking miniature figures from the Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. They are being sold in Japan for 300 yen ($2.50) each, which is around the same price as other capsule toys. Import stores are probably stocking these too. So check around and if you’re lucky you’ll […]

Early impressions on the Phantom Hourglass

By Spencer . July 9, 2007 . 4:44pm

Between playing Persona 3, Luminous Arc and E3 planning I haven’t spent too much time on the Phantom Hourglass. I started it over the weekend and the adventure begins when Link gets separated from Tetra. He awakens on an island, without a sword and a shield to defend himself with. The first thing you have […]
