Nintendo set a firm date for The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Link’s railroad conducting adventure arrives in stores on December 7.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks introduces a steam powered train to the Zelda series. When Link sits in the engine car the DS game goes on rails. Players can control the speed of the train with a switch on the touch screen.
Here it is at long last. The first hint of things to come as far as Zelda for Wii is concerned.
We’re the last region to get The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask because Nintendo saved it as North America’s 300th Virtual Console game. Will you save Termina from impending doom before three days pass?
Nintendo ended their GDC keynote announcing The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, but never set a release date. Their financial outlook at least gives the game a timeline, forecasting the portable Zelda game will launch in the latter half of this calendar year.
Virtual Console Arcade is running and the service looks promising after seeing Namco Bandai’s huge arcade line up. We’ll have to wait for those games to come out another month. The only arcade game they are releasing in the next few weeks is Samurai Ghost and it goes online this Tuesday in Japan. Many [...]
Tiny Cartridge pointed out an interview (in Japanese) with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata that I missed. In a discussion with the DSi staff he mentions some ideas he has for DSiWare applications like a Zelda Calculator, an Animal Crossing Clock, and street maps for large cities. Iwata’s idea is to sell these DSiWare toys for [...]
The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass is old news for most of the world, but not South Korean where Link is about to make a debut. This isn’t his first appearance thanks to importing, but this will be one of the rare times where Link’s adventure is fully localized in Hangul. In case you [...]
In case you missed the leaked Black Friday ads, Nintendo is releasing two new bundle packages beginning on November 23. The Gold edition has a Triforce stamped DS and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The Metallic Rose edition has a paw print on the right corner and it is packaged with Nintendogs: Best Friends [...]
There are 27 stages to plow through where you shoot bulls-eyes, skeletons and bokoblins as crossbow wielding Link. Link's Crossbow Training isn't just an on rails shooter either. In ranger levels you move link with the control stick and raid an enemy base. For a $20 pack-in game The Link’s Crossbow Training is looking [...]
Nintendo is holding a pre-launch Phantom Hourglass event at the Nintendo World store (10 Rockefeller Plaza New York, NY) this Sunday. At the event you take pictures with someone dressed up like Link or show up in a green tunic of your own to enter the costume contest. If you’re on the fence about purchasing [...]
Nintendo sent over an e-mail confirming that Link’s Crossbow Training will be bundled with the Wii Zapper shell. Link starts the game by shooting stable bulls-eyes and later he moves on to mobile enemies. The whole package is set in the backdrop of the Twilight Princess, which means you’ll be playing as adult Link. The [...]
Did you catch Robot Chicken last night/this morning? In between sketches about Barbie dolls and He-Man, Robot Chicken poked fun at two series of video games. Poor Link is trying to get a “reward” from Zelda, but will she give in after eight previous records? If you missed it the episode is online. Watch it [...]
Opposable Thumbs has a pretty good track record when it comes to retail leaks too and they have two scoops. During this weekend’s Gamestop conference one source tipped them off to the Wii Zapper pack in game, Zelda Crossbow training. A $20 zapper shell and a Zelda game should be a sure fire hit, [...]
