ROAR! Animal Resort seems to be making its way out of Japan.

The Nintendo 3DS is the cover story of Nikkei Business this week and in the issue Marvelous President Haruki Nakayama mentioned his company’s plans for the system.

Plus: an idea of what kinds of animals to expect to see in the game.

Well, sort of. It’s now called “Animal Resort: Let’s Build a Zoo!” and we have a few more details on what it involves.

During an investors Q&A, Marvelous briefly spoke about plans for the next term. The publisher plans to release about the same number of games in Japan as they did this year, which was nine titles.

Marvelous Entertainment’s 3DS zoo-simulator is being worked on by AQ Interactive, who own Xseed and the teams from Cavia, Feelplus and Artoon.

While many publishers are bringing tried and true franchises to the Nintendo 3DS, Marvelous is kicking off development with a brand new title.
