Even though the source of this information comes straight from Nintendo, no one seems to know when Professor Layton and the Curious Village will arrive in stores (hence the question mark in the title). Nintendo keeps shuffling the release date of Level 5’s brain bending puzzle game. It was originally pinned down for December 3rd. Then it slipped to February 10, 2008. However, that is the same day Super Smash Brothers Brawl arrives, which would have been a horrible time to release Layton in the wild. Nintendo quietly sacked the release back a week to February 18, 2008. Now Nintendo’s press page mentions February 11, 2008 is the release date and North America might get a week head start on solving brain teasers.
I wonder if the Game|Life West Coast office is toasting the news over a warm glass of eggnog. Chris has been quite passionate about the series even though I haven’t played too much of the first game.
