This weekend Capcom is throwing a Mega Man summer shindig at the Tokyo Fashion Town Building. If you’re in Japan take the Rinkai or Yurikamome line Kokusai-tenjijo on August 24. At the event you’ll get to try out Mega Man 9 and Mega Man Star Force 3. You get a Mega Man 9 sticker sheet for testing Mega Man 9 and a clear plastic folder for playing Mega Man Star Force 3. The event starts at 10AM and ends at 4:30, but you will want to get there much earlier for the crown jewel swag. Capcom has 1,500 aluminum bottles to give out, first come first serve. The collectible thermos has the latest version of Mega Man as an 8-bit character. From my experience checking out Rockman’s 20th birthday bash last year people show up to these events very early. Bring your DS and Mega Man Star Force 2 to kill the time while in line.
