Dragon Quest Slimes Ooze Into Taiko no Tatsujin Sequel

Recommended Videos

Square Enix and Namco Bandai partnered to include “Overture IX” from Dragon Quest IX in Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Dodon to Ni Dai Me. It’s one of a few video game songs in the second Taiko no Tatsujin game for the Wii. “Hello!” from The Idolm@ster: Dearly Stars and “Be Your Wings” from Tales of Graces are the others.

No word if you’ll be able to dress Wada-don as a King Slime, but you can give him a heavy metal rocker outfit as seen in the boss battle screenshots.

The song list is tilted towards anime fans with themes from Naruto Shippuden, Pokemon: Dimaond & Pearl, Dragon Bal Kai, Sgt. Frog, Crayon Shin-Chan, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Dodon to Ni Dai Me is dated for November 19 in Japan as a standalone game for 5,040 yen ($55) and a drum bundle for 7,980 yen ($88).
