Square Enix Europe officially announced the limited collector’s edition of Final Fantasy XIII and spilled the beans on what’s inside the box.
PAL gamers that pickup the collector’s edition get:
- The World of Final Fantasy XIII – a hardcover book with character art, CG rendered artwork, and environments
- Final Fantasy XIII Original Sound Selection – a music CD with tracks chosen by Masashi Hamauzu, the game’s composer
- Three collectable Eidolon art prints
- A l’Cie mark sticker
- Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3
Still no word if Square Enix USA will distribute a similar, if not the same, package in North America. Just a reminder, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and Star Ocean: The Last Hope had Europe exclusive collector’s editions. PAL territories also got those games after North America so that might have been Square Enix Europe’s way of saying sorry for the wait.
