Project Sora, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revealed, was formed primarily to develop games for the 3DS. Their first title is Kid Icarus: Uprising, set to launch alongside the system. Project Sora is a new Nintendo studio headed up by Smash Bros. creator, Masahiro Sakurai.

In Uprising, one of the neat features is that the 3D effect allows you to judge distances while in flight. The game, graphically, looked very good for a portable title.
