Shishio In Rurouni Kenshin: Saisen, Aniplex Celebrate Series’ 15th Anniversary

Recommended Videos

By now, Rurouni Kenshin fans should be familiar with Rurouni Kenshin: Saisen on the PSP, a traditional 2D fighter being published by Namco Bandai on March 10th, 2011. Saisen is actually part of a project celebrating Rurouni Kenshin’s 15th anniversary in Japan.

Oh, and judging by the image above on the game’s official website, Shishio Makoto is confirmed to be making an appearance, although we don’t know if he’ll be playable.

To celebrate Kenshin’s 15th, Aniplex will also make the OVAs and anime series, along with what seems to be a mention of unreleased footage, available on PC, PlayStation Network and mobiles in Japan. Details as to just how this will all play out are scarce for the moment, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
