Crystal Dynamics’ Giant-Sized Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light Promotion

See that huge contraption? That’s a giant iPhone billboard, created using 56 iPads, displaying Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

As of last week, in addition to the PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is available on iTunes as well, with a $6.99 version for iPhone and a high-definition $9.99 version for the iPad.

Crystal Dynamics decided to do a bit of promotion for the iTunes ports at the St. Pancras International station in London recently, and so the giant iPhone with the game on it was created to get people’s attention. It was only up for about 30 minutes, and a bunch of people walked away with free iPads with Guardian of Light installed on them as part of the promotion.
